Born English. Modelling from an early age, before leaving the hobby behind and coming back to it periodically. Modelling eventually came to serve as a release from the pressures of teaching science to kids that didn't want to learn science. Eventually offered the position of unpaid Managing Editor of a large website, before moving to a paid position doing the same. Afterwards I founded ModelArmour.com and still teach occasionally too.
Despite dabbling in other genres, armour has always captured my enthusiasm. Mainly I model German WWII armour, but will venture to other areas if a particular kit takes my fancy. Although I'm neither a historian nor real vehicle enthusiast, I recognise the value in good references, and like to add extra value to my models in the form of detail.
